In respect of the introduction of the Beneficial Ownership Regime in Cayman, additional amending legislation that came into effect on 13 December 2017. The categories of company requiring filing of beneficial owner information have been refined. No longer in scope are partnerships and foreign companies, meaning that no reporting is required for either of these entity types.
You should also be aware that if a company claims an exemption from this regime, it is required to provide written confirmation to its Corporate Service Provider, which in your case means Maystar. This confirmation must include precise details of the exemption.
